Design your own microgravity

If you want to touch your ideas and goals in reality

Our minds on Earth float like astronauts in microgravity, despite our physical bodies being gravitated on Earth.

The ancient civilizations were polymaths because they made their discoveries in microgravity-like environment.

Unlike our era, in modern times, there is an expectation that one should be an expert in a single area throughout their life.

Societies have propagated this notion for decades, preventing people from following their curiosity and experimenting in new fields.

With the lifestyle we have now, becoming a polymath is almost impossible for many, unless you are well-off and have the time to follow your curiosity, interests, and experiment.

Ancient philosophers and scholars experimented in multiple fields, following their interests and curiosity.

They built knowledge and made progress in various areas.

At that time, their environment was akin to microgravity — fully focused, with no external forces to distract their minds and thoughts.

Life was simpler, providing them with the perfect environment to think, experiment, create, and contemplate.

Comparing gravity with microgravity

What is microgravity?

Objects, particles, and astronauts float in space due to microgravity. Gravity is weaker around Earth in space (orbit), allowing things to float.

Gravity is a grace, as is microgravity; it’s designed to anchor humans to a stabilized life on Earth.

Imagine living your entire life floating with your objects on Earth. It might be fun for a period, but not for eternity.

While microgravity is designed to allow humans to swim and float, it also facilitates conditions for making discoveries in space, such as satellites. Without microgravity, we wouldn’t have today’s communications.

If Earth’s gravity had the same effect in outer space, objects would free-fall, and there would be no space stations, satellites, or advancements in scientific and technological research.

The developments made by humankind have resulted in densely populated cities, stress, life pressures, and increased responsibilities.

All these factors have distracted human focus, causing attention spans to become too short and making it challenging to regain control and focus.

That’s why we fail to achieve our purpose. With a scattered mind comes scattered dreams and ideas, and we fail to focus on one.

Not only at a personal level but also professionally, projects fail due to a lack of a focused mind.

Professionals are under pressure to deliver quickly within short time frames, often handling multiple projects simultaneously.

They find themselves surrounded by external forces like distractions and noise.

How can one deliver in such an environment, and in an agile mode, without having clarity?

Deep thinking and contemplation are not well-suited for the modern environment.

You can’t gain clarity while sprinting.

Why are companies interested in microgravity?

It’s ironic how the mind operates and seems to float in all dimensions, similar to microgravity, being influenced by external forces.

Scientists and researchers have made breakthroughs in technology and science through experiments conducted in floating space.

In microgravity, the weak or absent gravity prevents the usual movement of heat and settling of particles.

  • in microgravity, substances mix in a calm and precise way, allowing for the creation of unique and highly controlled structures at the molecular and atomic levels.
  • in microgravity, surface tension becomes a key factor, enabling precise sticking, contact, and interaction between layers of similar and different substances.

Things don’t behave the same way as they do on Earth because these gravitational effects are not as strong or are absent.

We want our goals to float in front of us and not our minds, much like particles in a microgravity environment, to achieve better results.

Some of the breakthroughs in microgravity include scratch-resistant glasses, solar cells, wireless headsets, water purification systems, drug development using protein crystals, insulin pumps, and 3D printing.

Space offers a unique research and manufacturing environment to a broad range of sectors due to its near-vacuum state, microgravity, and higher levels of radiation.

Many companies believe that the environment of space could help them:

  • discover new products,
  • enhance their current offerings,
  • or decrease development timelines.

The number of patents with ‘microgravity’ in the title or abstract increased significantly, rising from 21 in 2000 to 155 in 2020.

How to create you own microgravity?

The mind swayed left and right by distractions in everyday life. such as social media, opinion of others, entertainments, and world affairs.

All impacts the way you approach your goals, projects or learning.

Gravitate your focus. Float your goals or ideas in front of you, much like particles in space, so you can see clearly through them.

Visualize the breakdown of the components of your idea.

Study each element and understand how to structure them so they can interact together to achieve your goal.

Remove noise, disruptive magnetic forces, and unnecessary frictions. Visualize yourself traveling to outer space to work on your idea in microgravity.

This creates the right environment to learn new things, make discoveries, and gain a precise understanding of whatever you are working on.

A calm and precise environment is optimal for the process of creation.

Consider ancient polymaths and how isolated their surroundings were from external forces.

Enabling you to structure systems that can integrate and interact between their layers leads to high-quality creation.

How to use microgravity model on earth

Characteristics you can learn from Microgravity:

  • Microgravity minimizes resistance, allowing for smoother movements. Apply this concept by identifying and reducing unnecessary resistance in your life or work.
  • Microgravity experiments often involve trial and error. Apply this concept by treating your goals as experiments.
  • Microgravity allows for precise movements. Apply this by focusing on the details and executing tasks with precision
  • Microgravity minimizes external influences. Apply this by identifying and reducing distractions in your environment.

The concept of microgravity serves as a mental model metaphor for thinking creatively in a calm and precise environment, minimizing constraints and approaching challenges with a fresh perspective and mind.

Don’t let your focus float; instead, let your idea float in front of you. Isolate it from the noise and travel with it to microgravity.
